En 2011, Barreto (Tenerife, 1984) present\u00f3 en la Librer\u00eda de Mujeres de Santa Cruz de Tenerife la novela Una gasa delante de mis ojos,<\/em> de Elsa L\u00f3pez, leyendo la ponencia \u00abElsa L\u00f3pez-Alfonsina Storni: el contexto asumido\u00bb. En 2012 present\u00f3 la ponencia\u00a0\u00abPara una lectura de Elsa L\u00f3pez\u00bb en el Instituto de Estudios Canarios.\u00a0En 2014 present\u00f3 en el Instituto de Estudios Canarios, junto a Carlos Eduardo Pinto y Andr\u00e9s S\u00e1nchez Robayna la obra po\u00e9tica de Manuel Gonz\u00e1lez Sosa, A pesar de los vientos<\/em> (2013).\u00a0Particip\u00f3 en el IV Congreso de Poes\u00eda Canaria en el Ateneo de La Laguna, en el IX Encuentro Bienal de Arte de Lanzarote dedicado a Agust\u00edn Espinosa, en la antolog\u00eda de poes\u00eda El pescador de Letras<\/em> (Fundaci\u00f3n Mapfre Guanarteme, 2019) y en el libro conjunto ARCA<\/em> (Ed. Entre 2013 y 2015 fue coordinador del \u00c1rea de Literatura del Ateneo de La Laguna, compagin\u00e1ndolo con la propiedad del caf\u00e9 cultural Atelier des Fous, en San Crist\u00f3bal de La Laguna, donde se llevaron a cabo exposiciones de artistas emergentes, conferencias, lecturas po\u00e9ticas, coloquios y performances<\/em>. Entre 2015 y 2018 gestion\u00f3, junto a la escritora Mar\u00eda Jos\u00e9 Alem\u00e1n Bastarrica, la librer\u00eda de segunda mano La Sala de M\u00e1quinas en San Crist\u00f3bal de La Laguna. Barreto ha sido miembro del comit\u00e9 de redacci\u00f3n de la revista digital de arte y pensamiento Piedra y Cielo<\/em>, columnista de La Opini\u00f3n de Tenerife<\/em> (2016-2018) y ha rese\u00f1ado obras y exposiciones para la memoria anual (2017) de TEA (Tenerife Espacio de las Artes).
