Durante la concurrida velada se habl\u00f3 de la genealog\u00eda de los relatos, que \u00abpertenecen a la tradici\u00f3n fant\u00e1stica pero desde una perspectiva kafkiana y borgiana, sin olvidar las reminiscencias de Lovecraft\u00bb. Se profundiz\u00f3 en el hecho de que \u00ablos personajes no tienen nombre y, sin embargo, el nombre de las cosas encierra todo el asombro y magnetismo del relato, mucho m\u00e1s que la acci\u00f3n\u00bb, adem\u00e1s de comentarse que \u00abes la atm\u00f3sfera que se percibe\u00bb en los cuentos la que aporta unicidad a la colecci\u00f3n. Otro de los temas de conversaci\u00f3n fue el misticismo que subyace en la escritura de Santiago, quien reconoci\u00f3 tener \u00abuna relaci\u00f3n compleja con el Alt\u00edsimo y lo sublime\u00bb.
